New Member Educator Booklet
The purpose of this handbook is to provide New Member Educator(s) (NME) with helpful information and resources that can be utilized during the new member education period. One of a fraternal organization's greatest strengths is the ability to organize. Consider this handbook a necessary organizational tool to help develop and strengthen the quality of your organization's new member education process and, with that, the entire new member experience.

Social Event Registration
All off-campus social events must be registered and approved through the Office of Student Involvement - Fraternity and Sorority Life. Each semester, representatives from all fraternities and sororities attend a training where the social event registration process is reviewed. Chapter members should download the form below or visit the Fraternity and Sorority Life portal on VU Groups to access and submit the appropriate forms for social event registration, and to utilize other resources related to this process.

Semester Activity Report
Every fraternity and sorority at Villanova University must complete and submit a Semester Activity Report following the fall and spring semesters. This report must be completed and submitted on VU Groups by Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 and with Standards of Excellence final reports and projects at the end of the Spring 2018 semester.
Hazing, in any form, is strictly prohibited by Villanova University, the Interfraternity, Panhellenic, and Multicultural Greek Councils, and the local and inter/national offices of each recognized organization. New and active members should not tolerate such behavior, as it does not promote relationship-building and trust, and rather serves to break down morale and the notion of community upon which Villanova University was founded. Individuals and organizations found in violation of these policies will be held accountable. Please report any concerns to Fraternity and Sorority Life in Corr Hall. Visit the Villanova Student Code of Conduct for more details.
