Fraternity & Sorority Life

IMPORTANT: The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life has enacted a Social Moratorium until further notice. This means that there are to be no on or off campus social events. Please visit this page for more detailed information.

In response to the rising number of cases of COVID-19 on Villanova’s campus, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life has made the decision to postpone both Panhellenic and IFC Recruitment processes scheduled in February in an effort to protect the health and safety of our community members. We recognize that even a fully virtual process lends itself to opportunities for members and potential new members alike to be tempted to connect in person, and we are making this decision to mitigate the potential risks involved.

We are hopeful that recruitment may be able to take place after midterms in March. That decision will ultimately rest on the health of the community at that time. We will not be able to make any decision on timing until later in February at the earliest. In the meanwhile, it’s imperative for all members of the Fraternity and Sorority community to adhere to COVID safety measures at all times and to be diligent in wearing masks and maintaining at least 6-foot distance among people in all settings. We ask that you please continue to do your part to keep our Villanova community safe.

Fraternities and sororities have been active members of the Villanova community for more than 100 years, with missions that seek to evoke leadership qualities in members through engagement in academic, service, philanthropic, and social initiatives.

We hope this website will provide insight on these organizations and the broader Fraternity and Sorority Life community at Villanova University. Visit us in Dougherty Hall, Rm 108 or call 610.519.7280 for more information.
