Dr. Berry (Dr. B.) is committed to enhancing the student experience at Villanova by making our community more inclusive and celebrating the unique contributions of diverse students on-campus. Dr. B. earned her B.A. in Psychology from Villanova University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. B. helped to develop the OIA during her first year at Villanova and has many years of experience working with college-age young adults.

Celina’s passions lie in fostering an inclusive campus by working with underrepresented student groups, providing training to student organizations and event planning. With over a decade of working in higher education, she gained experience in the full scope of a student’s college career through roles in financial aid, academic advising, career services and student engagement. Celina earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Arcadia University and an MBA from Philadelphia University.


Intercultural Coordinators and Ambassadors

Intercultural Coordinators and Ambassadors support and spread the mission of the Office of Intercultural Affairs. They foster and sustain a community of respect and inclusion by interacting with different organizations and departments on campus, enhancing programming to increase student engagement and assisting the OIA staff in growth of their office and mission.   

Current projects include:

  • An oral history of diversity, equity, and inclusion work on campus
  • Creation of a campus-wide multicultural festival
  • Supporting Falvey Library on updating diversity and inclusion research guides
  • Social media campaigns on identity and well-being
  • Assisting RA’s with inclusive programming spaces

As an Intercultural Ambassador, I am looking forward to getting to know people from different backgrounds and establishing honest conversations about diversity, equity and justice with them.
