The research administration infrastructure at Villanova is growing! Members of the Villanova community are invited to a meet and greet to get to know the offices that support research administration on campus. Please join the directors and team members of the Offices of Research Protections and Grants and Contracts (formerly known as ORA) on Friday, November 2, 2018 3-5 pm in the Idea Accelerator. Refreshments will be served!
Faculty and staff are encouraged to come by to learn more about the administrative support provided to researchers, discuss specific questions or concerns related to research administration at Villanova, consult on issues regarding individual research needs and find out about upcoming training opportunities.
The Office of the Provost is hosting fall brown bags to review improvements to the Villanova sponsored award infrastructure.
We have been working to align our policies with regulatory requirements, and to update our procedures to provide transparency and consistency to the research community. In addition, we have created a new role that will support principal investigators (PIs) to: prepare proposal submissions, perform monthly financial monitoring (such as burn rates and over/under spending projections) and complete financial closeout reviews.
Please come with your questions, and your feedback on how to help sponsored award activities grow at Villanova.
