Dr. Lafferty also teaches EDU 4290 in the fall and spring semesters, an undergraduate course on the Philosophy of Education, required for both Education majors and minors working on their certification. The course examines different philosophies of educational theorists, coupled with current issues impacting on the profession. Salient theories of leadership are examined to help form a philosophy and praxis for today’s students, especially those entering the teaching profession.  Dr. Lafferty also occasionally supervises student teachers.
