After graduating from Villanova in 2010 with a B.A. in English, Cayce worked for the Honors Program as their Program Assistant while she pursued her Master's Degree at Villanova in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed internships in counseling through Campus Ministry at Villanova and in Rosemont College's Counseling Center. Cayce graduated with her M.S. in 2015, and first worked at Eagleville Hospital as a therapist for inpatient populations with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. She now works as an outpatient therapist, counseling adults and adolescents on a variety of clinical issues. Cayce received her PA license in 2018. She is happy to speak with undergraduates/post-graduates interested in the counseling field or with questions about applying to graduate school.

I graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Psychology and French from Villanova University. While at Villanova I studied abroad for a semester in Aix-en-Provence, France through American University. I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and M.Ed. in Human Sexuality at Widener University in 2012 and I currently work as a clinical psychologist in Virginia. I provide therapy and assessment services to a wide demographic including children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. I would love to provide information to students interested in pursuing graduate work in psychology or the human service professions and share my experiences.

I'm an alum of interdisc, and graduated from Villanova in 2006 with a dual major in honors and psychology. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology (Ph.D.) with a concentration in health psychology from Drexel University in 2015. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, and I'm currently completing my postdoctoral training in integrated primary care at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. I provide assessment and brief therapy for male and female Veterans of various eras focused on depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, and adjustment to illness and other stressors. I would be more than happy to mentor Villanova students who are considering any type of career in psychology - especially if they'd like advice on navigating the graduate school application process!
