David Stilwell, a junior Physics major, used his VURF travel grant to present research at the NJIT meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Physical Society.
On his experience:
I attended a conference at NJIT last November to present research done at Villanova University. I attended with several members of the Villanova Physics Department. This experience was an opportunity to engage with professional physicists and researchers about the research we had completed. It was an example of how collaborative the sciences are because with each new conversation, new ideas were shared and discussed on how to further explore. We were even given several suggestions concerning the issues we faced. Overall I enjoyed the experience and look forward to more like it in the future.
