Scholarly and Professional Associations

Many scholarly and professional associations offer competitive fellowships and grants for graduate students. These include such organizations as the American Chemical Society, American Historical Association, American Psychological Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, National Education Association, and many others.

Note that membership is often required, but organizations typically offer discounted student rates.
