Fulbright

About

The Fulbright Program, the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government, offers grants to study, teach and conduct research for U.S. citizens to go abroad and for non-U.S. citizens to come to the United States.

More than 325,000 participants – Americans and foreign citizens – have been awarded Fulbright grants in an effort to increase “mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries” through academic and cultural exchange.

There are approximately 155 countries worldwide where Fulbright operates through partnerships between the U.S. and foreign governments.
