COVID-19 FAQs

Until further notice, The Career Center is remotely operational.

The office in Garey Hall will be closed during this period.

We are sharing an update regarding Villanova University’s response to COVID-19. The University is committed to the safety and health of our community and visitors to campus and has created a robust FAQ website with detailed information on the impact of COVID-19 on our community.

To ensure the highest level of service is still available to our students, alumni and employers, the Career Center team has answered some of the most frequently asked questions about our ongoing remote operations.

During this time, all of our online career resources are still available for use, including job search and application processes through Handshake.

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process as the health and safety of all members of our community are of the utmost importance. 

Starting Monday, March 16, all Career Center appointments will occur remotely via Zoom, a video conferencing tool.

On the day before their scheduled appointment, students and alumni will be emailed instructions on how to use Zoom along with an access link for their appointment. Students and alumni do not need to have Zoom previously installed; the only requirement is a device with internet access.

Appointment scheduling is available through Handshake.

We are currently working on canceling or rescheduling all of our on-campus recruitment events and career programs, including information tables, panels and information sessions for the spring semester.

Some events may be able to be held virtually, and we are making every effort to accommodate that to ensure as little disruption as possible. To remain informed about the status of events and programs, students and alumni should check Handshake and RSVP to events of interest. Messaging will be shared with registered students and alumni including all details about how to attend virtually, if applicable.
