We're Under Construction!

The University Career Center is going through some exciting changes between August and October!

To ensure the highest level of service is still available to our students, alumni and employers, the Career Center team has answered some of the most frequently asked questions about our remote operations.

During this time, all of our online career resources are still available for use, including job search and application processes through Handshake.

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process. 

Starting Monday, August 3, all Career Center appointments will occur remotely via Zoom, a video conferencing tool.

On the day before their scheduled appointment, students and alumni will be emailed instructions on how to use Zoom along with an access link for their appointment. Students and alumni do not need to have Zoom previously installed; the only requirement is a device with internet access.

Appointment scheduling is available through Handshake.

We are currently redesigning all of our on-campus recruitment events and career programs, including employer events, panels and information sessions, to be virtual for the fall semester.

We are making every effort to ensure as little disruption as possible. To remain informed about the status of events and programs, students and alumni should check Handshake and RSVP to events of interest. Messaging will be shared with registered students and alumni including all details about how to attend virtually, if applicable.

For the Fall 2020 semester, all on-campus interviews will take place online.

Drop-in hours for the Fall 2020 semester will occur virtually, every weekday from 1-3PM EST, starting on the first day of classes.

Students and alumni can access information for virtual drop-in hours via Handshake.

Interview rooms will not be available to students until our on-campus operations resume.
