Current Villanova Students

Current Students, including Part-Time and Graduate students, are highly encouraged to register using the MyNOVA system, after obtaining their PIN from their advisor. 

Current students should make every effort to register via MyNOVA. For information on how to register via MyNOVA please see below.

Full Time and Graduate Students

Check with your advisor to get a pin and register.

Part Time Students

Call the College of Professional Studies (610-519-4300) to speak with your advisor and get your pin and register.

Incoming Freshmen Students

New Villanova students will need to register with an academic advisor. Summer courses are not available to incoming College of Liberal Arts & Sciences first-year students.

High School Students

High school students interested in taking a course this summer through the College of Professional Studies need to submit a letter of permission from the principal or a guidance counselor, stating that they are a student in good academic standing, as well as a transcript.

Registration Process

All students, with the exception of new Villanova students, are highly encouraged to register via the MyNOVA system.

Obtaining a PIN. Current Villanova students, including Professional Studies undergraduates and graduate students, should contact their advisor to obtain their PIN. New Villanova students must meet with their advisor to register.

Course Registration. Students will log into MyNOVA at with the user ID and password provided to them from UNIT. Students will then use the following process:

  • Click on the Student tab
  • Go to the My Schedule and Registration area
  • Use the Search for Classes link to see available courses
  • Login to register
  • Use the dropdown box to select summer
  • Input PIN number
  • If the CRN (course registration number) is known, enter it in the space provided on the Add Classes Worksheet and hit the Submit Changes button. If you do not know the CRN, use the Class Search button to find a class.

New Villanova Students will need to contact their academic advisor to register. undergraduate students who have been admitted to the university for the upcoming fall semester must have their registration forms signed by their academic deans. Graduate students who have been admitted for the fall  semester but wish to begin their studies in the Summer session must request to have their admit term adjusted in the Dean’s Office.

Villanova undergraduates wishing to take a graduate course must have senior status, a 3.0 cumulative average, and permission of the instructor, course chair, advisor, student’s dean, and graduate dean in order to enroll in graduate courses.

Students dismissed from Villanova University may not attend Summer Sessions.
