CPS Online Programs

Created for the adult whose busy life requires a flexible schedule, CPS offers undergraduate degree completion programs and professional non-credit certificates in different modalities. There are degree options on-campus, in hybrid formats and entirely online. Professional non-credit certificates are offered on-campus, online and can be customized for corporations to meet their unique needs.

Designed for the busiest of professionals, the 100% online programs can be completed from anywhere in the world where there is access to the internet. Ideal for those with careers requiring consistent travel or for those with multiple competing priorities on their time, these programs provide the most flexible learning experience. All degrees and certificates are developed and taught by Villanova faculty, several of whom teach in our on-campus programs, which helps to ensure the same high quality education and academic excellence is maintained across all modalities.

Villanova University offers innovative, fully online, non-credit certificate programs for working professionals. Led by industry practitioners who are experts in their fields, many of our certificate programs help to prepare you to earn professional certifications.

Villanova University offers three fully online bachelor’s degree programs specifically designed for working professionals who have some college experience, as well as one post-baccalaureate certificate for professionals who have already earned a bachelor's degree.

BA or BIS, with a major in Leadership

In this unique program offered online, on-campus and hybrid, you will delve into a variety of critical business areas, including managing change, organizational behavior, ethical leadership and management principles, which will help prepare you for career entry and advancement in many of today’s top industries. 

BIS, with a major in General Studies

This program offered online, on-campus and in a hybrid format integrates applied studies (e.g., communications, management, computer science, and leadership) with arts and sciences. By exploring this broad spectrum of subjects, you will develop the critical thinking skills to succeed in both the private and public sector, including the military and government. 

BA or BIS, with a major in Public Service and Administration

Offered online or in a hybrid format, the Public Service and Administration major expertly equips graduates for a career in public administration. The program focuses coursework on strategic planning, public policy and budgeting, leadership ethics, organizational effectiveness, and more. If you have a desire to spur positive organizational change, this degree is for you. 

BIS with a major in Organizational Development and Management

Offered online or in a hybrid format, the Organizational Development and Management prepares you to be a strategic, ethical, effective, and innovative leader in corporations and communities. In your coursework, you will identify and analyze the impacts of individual and group behavior on organizational processes and outcomes, as well as analyze decision-making processes required in complex business organizations. This degree also delivers the tools, techniques, and methodologies of process improvement.

BIS with a major in Entrepreneurship

Offered online or in a hybrid format, the Entrepreneurship major prepares students to expand their knowledge, develop their skills, and convert their ideas into tangible products and organizations that can positively impact society and promote the common good. Guided by the values of curiosity, resiliency, collaboration, and creativity, this major is focused on helping students develop a habit of mind oriented towards innovation and entrepreneurship that is applicable to both work and life.

BIS with a major in Human Resource Management

Offered online or in a hybrid format, and available as a major and minor within the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies is a Human Resource Management program of study. Created in partnership between the College of Professional Studies and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Master's in Human Resource Development program, this major provides a framework for the application of human resource principles that can be applied in a broad range of organizational settings.

Leadership Certificate

Offered online, on campus and in a hybrid format, the Leadership Certificate is designed for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in business or liberal arts who wish to acquire a formal background in leadership.

The Associate of Arts (AA) is an undergraduate degree program designed for students who want a rigorous and diverse general curriculum. You will take courses in a broad range of disciplines, studying the Humanities, Social Sciences, Math, Natural Sciences, Language, Culture, and Fine Arts. Additionally, you can customize your academic plan with electives catered to your professional and personal interests.
