Certified Management Accountant

Prepare for the Two Part Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) Exam

Globalization and standardization, combined with more stringent financial reporting requirements, have resulted in a dramatic change in the practice, rules, regulations, ethics, and execution of managerial accounting and financial strategy in all areas of an organization. The CMA is the globally recognized, advanced-level credential for accountants and financial professionals. Achieving the CMA demonstrates your professional expertise in financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics – skills that are in demand by organizations around the world.

The IMA’s Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certificate Program offered by Villanova University College of Professional Studies (CPS) addresses the needs of managerial finance and accounting professionals as they meet the challenges of the new corporate accounting environment. The IMA's “body of knowledge” reflects the variety of relevant business skills and abilities— including analyzing, managing, and evaluating business solutions—that professionals must possess to effectively contribute to the strategic success of an organization today.
