Alcohol & Drug Counselor Certificate

Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) is an advanced certificate for those currently working in the counseling field. Earning CADC enhances a counselor's knowledge base by learning targeted counseling techniques for substance abusers. To complete the Alcohol & Drug program at Villanova, students are required to attend 13 courses to earn a Villanova University certificate of completion.

All Villanova counseling courses are approved education hours by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB). Students can apply courses and hours towards other PCB certifications if they choose or use the education hours towards recertification. Call 610-519-4300 for more information.
