Created in 2014, the College of Professional Studies (CPS) is the first new College at Villanova University in the last 50 years. While our structure is new, Villanova has forged a deep commitment to adult learners, building on nearly 100 years of service to this community. Our students are unique in all the best ways—leading busy lives to support home, work, community and education. They bring a richness and diversity that contributes to what sets Villanova apart and to what makes the community so strong.
The College of Professional Studies offers bachelor’s degree programs, post-baccalaureate certificates, and non-credit professional education, available on campus, online, and in hybrid formats. Whether you are looking to begin or complete your bachelor's degree, earn a certificate in areas such as Leadership or Accountancy, or complete a non-credit professional certificate course to gain proficiency in a specific business area, CPS has a program to meet your needs.
As part of the Villanova community, you join a powerful and engaged network of over 120,000 alumni across the globe. Students are encouraged to utilize Career Services, as well as University tools such as Handshake.
Tuition and fees for evening courses through CPS are offered at a lower rate. A variety of financial aid and scholarship options are available.
Every student is assigned a dedicated CPS adviser who is available to meet in person, over the phone, or via email to assist in choosing courses and progressing through the program.
Flexible and Accelerated Course Options
Adult students demand flexibility and CPS delivers. Our programs are available part time, full time, on campus, online or in hybrid formats. Evening, weekend and accelerated FastForward courses allow education to fit seamlessly into our students' busy lives.
