Dear Class of 2021,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

Given the fluid situation surrounding COVID-19, the plans for 2021 Commencement Weekend have not yet been finalized. However, at this time, please hold May 13-15, 2021 on your calendars. As decisions are made regarding the weekend, we will be in touch with you, so that you and your families can make arrangements and plans. Regardless of what form Commencement takes, we are committed to celebrating you and your accomplishments!

This website is the best place to gather information about Commencement weekend, but we also offer the following opportunities to stay connected with Commencement 2021!

  • TEXT UPDATES: Villanova University offers a complimentary text system for Commencement 2021 updates. The system will provide guests with text messages regarding parking and traffic, as well as notification should any Commencement events be moved or canceled due to weather or an unexpected circumstance. Registration is quick and easy.  Information available in March, 2021.
  • NOVAGUIDE APP: Download the NovaGuide App and follow the Commencement 2021 Guide, it includes maps, information about dining options and even allows you to set your personal schedule for the weekend.
  • EMAIL: Check your emails! Starting in January all potential graduates will start receiving emails with Commencement details.

As of January 2021, decisions regarding guests to the Commencemnet Ceremonies are being evaluated.  More information will be forthcoming. 

Commencement Weekend Parking- PASSES REQUIRED

Each graduate will have the opportunity to sign up for two parking passes on the Graduation Fair form.  The parking passes will be for a designated parking lot and distribution details will be forthcoming.  For information about accessible parking, please visit Parking and Maps

On campus parking will be limited and every vehicle must have Commencement parking pass to enter campus for Commencement activities. Parking passes are also required for the Radnor Financial Center and a shuttle service will be available.
