VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY GUIDELINES FOR CONDUCTING VIRTUAL MINORS PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES DURING THE COVID-19 HEALTH EMERGENCY

The Minors on Campus Committee has developed these guidelines to assist Program Directors who wish to move existing programs to a virtual format or develop new virtual programs which involve the participation of minors.

Program Directors are asked to carefully review and follow all applicable sections of Villanova University’s Health and Safety Plan dated August 17, 2020 for in-person youth programs and activities.  Safeguards include adhering to protocols around wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), practicing social distancing, and engaging in self-monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19.

When we think of Villanova, images of our outstanding academic and athletic programs come to mind.

What we do not as readily envision is that  Villanova offers many academic and athletic programs to benefit youth in our community.

At Villanova, we take seriously our obligation and commitment to protect all minors who visit our campus and participate in these programs.
