Spring Permit Sales Begin December 14, 2022
All Eligible Students must register for parking on the Parking Portal. Eligible students include Commuters, Law Students, and Resident Juniors and Seniors who will be attending classes this upcoming academic year. Please review all the Parking Regulations before registering, but answers to frequently asked questions are provided below.
I-1 Garage Upper Reserved Level Resident Parking Juniors and Seniors residing in the Commons should order this permit. Using the Permit Decal, you must enter through the second set of gates and park on the 4th and 5th levels.
W-2 West Campus Lots Juniors and Seniors residing in West should order this permit. This Permit will be Virtual and no physical permit will be mailed or need to be picked up.
Please note, we will require your local off campus address during the order process. Permits are expected to sell out in all lots and other permits and lots will be substituted. To start, the permit choices are:
I-1 Garage Commuter Lower Levels This permit decal will be offered to most commuters. It allows access to the garage during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage. Access to the I-1 Garage will be controlled by automatic gates, triggered by the permit decal. Anyone parking in the I-1 Garage without a permit will need to pull a ticket at the entry gate and pay to exit.
I-2 South Campus Commuters Available once the I-1 Garage Commuter Permits have sold out. This permit will be Virtual, and no physical permit will need to be picked up. Allows access to the lot during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.
S-4 Communication Majors This virtual permit will be offered to Undergrad Communication Major Commuters. It allows access to the S-4 garage during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.
Evening Permit This virtual permit is valid only after 5pm and allows access to 5 inner campus lots; M-2, S-2, S-3, S-4, W-1. If on occasion you will be on campus before 5pm, you must park in the I-1 Garage and pay the rate. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.
S-4 North Campus Garage This virtual permit allows one of your vehicles access to the garage during scheduled day time and evening classes. Please note, students that renewed their permit this past May will not need to register for a new permit. First year Law Students and any 2nd or 3rd year student that let their permit expire will need to register for a new permit. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.
Paralegal Students will have the choice of I-1 Garage Commuter or Evening permits. Daytime Paralegals should choose I-1 Garage permit which is only valid for 1 semester for $50. Evening Paralegals should choose the Evening permit which is valid through the Fall and Spring for $50.
All Commuter Electric Vehicles can now use the new ChargePoint Charging Stations with a valid permit for the I-1 or S-4 Garage. You will need a ChargePoint account to pay for usage. More details can be found here.
Resident Students with Electric Vehicles can now use the new ChargePoint Charging Stations in the I-1 Garage or the S-4 Garage. Please contact the Parking Office prior to ordering a permit.
Villanova University has made the difficult decision to suspend the approval for undergraduate student participation in fall 2020 semester study abroad programs. For more information, please visit OEA.
Villanova Campus Fall Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $100. Before winter break, remove the decal and return it to the Parking Office to receive a 50% refund. If you have the virtual permit, please send an email to parking@villanova.edu to have the 50% refund processed. Please note: Even if you do not return the decal or request a refund, your vehicle cannot be parked on campus while you are abroad.
Villanova Campus Spring Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $50 on the Parking Portal starting the last week of fall semester through winter break.
