2019-2020 Student Parking Registration

June 12, 2019 Parking Registration Begins on the Parking Portal

 

 

 

All Eligible Students must register for parking on the Parking Portal. Eligible students include Commuters, Law Students, and Resident Juniors and Seniors. Please review all the Parking Regulations before registering.  

  • Permits are $100 and will be billed to your student account. If mailed, $5 shipping fee will apply.
  • Permits are vaild only for the lot indicated.
  • Permits are valid through Aug 15, 2020.
  • Permits must be permanently affixed in the correct location and visible at all times.
  • Students are allowed 1 permit and 1 vehicle which they or a member of their househould must own. Proof of Ownership is required to register for parking.
  • You are responisble for keeping your information current. If your permanent vehicle or plate changes, you must notify the parking office immediately. Any temporary vehicle must be registered and display a temp pass.
  • Parking on Campus is limited and the nearest lot to your location may become be unavailable.
  • Villanova Parking Lots are Private. Use of the Parking Lots, permitted or not permitted, subjects you to the Parking Regulations and Enforcement of those Regulations. You must observe all Traffice Laws at all times.

 

Eligible Resident Students

Register through August 11th and receive the permit in your Villanova mailbox. Anyone registering after August 12th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. Residents Students will have multiple permit options available. Lots will not be oversold, and permits are valid for that spacific lot. The choices are:

I-1 Garage Upper Reserved Level Resident Parking The upper two levels of the I-1 Garage are being designated for resident student parking. Resident students may not park on the lower three levels of the garage. IMPORTANT: Access to the I-1 Garage will be controlled by automatic gates.Your permit will open the entry and exit gates. Anyone parking in the I-1 Garage without a permit will need to pull a ticket at the entry gate and pay to exit.

L-4 The Commons Lot: This lot is located between the Commons and the railroad tracks. Due to the limited number of spaces and its close proximity to the new residence halls, it is anticipated that these will sell out quickly.

I-2 South Campus Lots If the I-1 Garage has sold out, residents of The Commons should order the I-2 Permit.

W-2 West Campus Lots Juniors and Seniors residing in West should order this permit.

Undergraduate Commuters

Register by August 11th and receive the permit via standard mail to your Local Off-Campus Address, shipping fee is $5. Please note, we will require your local off campus address during the order process. Anyone registering after August 12th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. The permit choices are:

I-1 Garage Commuter Lower Levels Allows access to the garage during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage. IMPORTANT: Access to the I-1 Garage will be controlled by automatic gates.Your permit will open the entry and exit gates. Anyone parking in the I-1 Garage without a permit will need to pull a ticket at the entry gate and pay to exit.

Evening Permit Valid only after 5pm and allows access to 5 inner campus lots; M-2, S-2, S-3, S-4, W-1. If you must be on campus before 5pm, you must park in the I-1 Garage and pay the rate. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.

Graduate Commuters

Register by August 11th and receive the permit via standard mail to your permanent address on file with the University, shipping fee is $5. Anyone registering after August 12th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. The permit choices are:

I-1 Garage Commuter Lower Levels Allows access to the garage during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.

Law Students

Your parking location will still be the S-4 Garage, but new this year, you will not be recieving a physical permit. Carefully, register all vehicles you intend to use during the school year and have them linked to your parking credential which allows one of your vehicles access to the garage during scheduled day time and evening classes. Vehicle cannot be left overnight or for storage.

Paralegal Students

Evening Paralegals can order the Evening Permit. Day time Paralegals, please send an email to parking@villanova.edu with the subject line: Day Time Paralegal Student. Please include your name, Banner ID, and vehicle plate with state/make/model/color/year. The Parking Office will process the registration. Please visit the Parking Office to pick up the Permit.

Electric Vehicle

All Electric Vehicles must have an Electric Parking Permit in order to park in Electric Charging Stations. Students parking in the I-1 or S-4 Garages can purchase an Electric Parking Permit for $200. You are permitted to park in an Electric Charging Station spot while you are charging (approximately 4 hours). When not charging, your vehicle will need to be parked in a non-charging spot in the garage it is issued.

Study Abroad Students

Fall Resident Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $100. Before winter break, remove the sticker and return it to the Parking Office to receive a 50% refund. Please note: Even if you do not return the sticker, your vehicle cannot be parked on campus while you are abroad.

Spring Resident Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $50 during winter break. The permit will be valid for pick up in January 2020.
