2020-2021 Student Parking Registration Starts July 1, 2020

 

Villanova University Parking Portal User Guide

 

 

All Eligible Students must register for parking on the Parking Portal. Eligible students include Commuters, Law Students, and Resident Juniors and Seniors. Please review all the Parking Regulations before registering.  

  • Permits are $100 for the Fall and Spring semesters which will be billed to your student account. If mailed, $5 shipping fee will apply.
  • Permits are vaild only for the lot indicated.
  • Permits will be virtual excluding the I-1 Garage.
  • Permit decals must be permanently affixed in the correct location and visible at all times.
  • Virtual permits require acurate plate infomation, and you are responisble for keeping your information current. If your permanent vehicle or plate changes, you must notify the parking office immediately. Any temporary vehicle must be registered and display a temp pass.
  • Undergraduate Students are allowed 1 permit and 1 vehicle which they or a member of their househould must own. Proof of Ownership is required to register for parking.
  • Parking on Campus is limited and the nearest lot to your location may become unavailable.
  • Villanova Parking Lots are Private. Use of the Parking Lots, permitted or not permitted, subjects you to the Parking Regulations and Enforcement of those Regulations. You must observe all Traffice Laws at all times.

 

I-1 Garage Upper Reserved Level Resident Parking Juniors and Seniors residing in the Commons and Junior and Senior RA’s of south and inner campus dorms should order this permit. Using the Permit Decal, you must enter through the second set of gates and park on the 4th and 5th  levels.

W-2 West Campus Lots Juniors and Seniors residing in West should order this permit. This Permit will be Virtual and no physical permit will be mailed or need to be picked up.

Please note, we will require your local off campus address during the order process. I-1 Garage permits will be mailed to this address. Permits are expected to sell out in all lots and other permits and lots will be substituted. To start, the permit choices are:

I-1 Garage Commuter Lower Levels This permit decal will be offered to most commuters. It allows access to the garage during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage. Access to the I-1 Garage will be controlled by automatic gates, triggered by the permit decal. Anyone parking in the I-1 Garage without a permit will need to pull a ticket at the entry gate and pay to exit.

W-2 West Campus Commuters This virtual permit will be offered to Undergrad Communication Major Commuters and Paralegal Certificate Commuters. It allows access to the lot during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.

E-1 Engineering Commuters This virtual permit will be offered to Undergrad Engineering Major Commuters. It allows access to the lot during scheduled daytime and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.

Evening Permit This virtual permit is valid only after 5pm and allows access to 5 inner campus lots; M-2, S-2, S-3, S-4, W-1. If on occasion you will be on campus before 5pm, you must park in the I-1 Garage and pay the rate. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.

Please note, I-1 Garage permits will be mailed to your Permanent Address on file with the University. Please make sure this is up to date through Novasis. Permits are expected to sell out in all lots and other permits and lots will be substituted. To start, the permit choices are:

S-4 North Campus Garage This virtual permit allows one of your vehicles access to the garage during scheduled day time and evening classes. Vehicles cannot be left overnight or for storage.

Paralegal Students will have the choice of W-2 West Campus or Evening permits. Daytime Paralegals should choose W-2 permit which is only valid for 1 semester for $50. Evening Paralegals should choose the Evening permit which is valid for Fall and Spring for $50.

All Commuter Electric Vehicles can now use our new ChargePoint Charging Stations with a valid permit for the I-1 or S-4 Garage. You will need a ChargePoint account to pay for usage. More details can be found here.

Resident Students parking in the I-1 Garage will have the option to purchase an Electric Parking Permit for $200. You are permitted to park in a non-ChargePoint  Charging Station in the upper reserved level while you are charging (approximately 4 hours). When not charging, your vehicle will need to be parked in a non-charging spot.

Villanova University has made the difficult decision to suspend the approval for undergraduate student participation in fall 2020 semester study abroad programs. For more information, please visit OEA.

Villanova Campus Fall Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $100. Before winter break, remove the decal and return it to the Parking Office to receive a 50% refund. If you have the virtual permit, please send an email to parking@villanova.edu to have the 50% refund processed. Please note: Even if you do not return the decal or request a refund, your vehicle cannot be parked on campus while you are abroad.

Villanova Campus Spring Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $50 on the Parking Portal starting the last week of fall semester through winter break.
