2017-2018 Student Parking Registration

July 17, 2017 Parking Registration Begins on the Parking Portal 

All Eligible Students must register for parking on the Parking Portal. Eligible students include Commuters, Law Students, and Resident Juniors and Seniors. Please review all the Parking Regulations before registering.

  • Student Permits are $100 and billed thru the Bursar.
  • Students are only allowed to register 1 vehicle. Have your vehicle registration available for upload. If the vehicle is not registered to you, then it must be registered to a family member of your household.
  • You must park in your designated area. Any vehicles parked outside of your decal or hang tag area will receive a citation.
  • You must observe all Traffic Laws and University Parking Regulations at all times. Failure to do so will result in a Citation or loss of parking privileges.
  • In order to assure sufficient handicapped parking, the University requires ADA documentation be submitted during the parking permit registration process. Have your paperwork available for upload.
  • Student Parking Permits must be correctly placed/displayed in designated areas and unobscured. Decals must be permanently affixed.
  • Parking Permits are assigned to 1 individual and 1 vehicle and must be correctly displayed at all times.
  • You are responsible for keeping your information current. If your permanent vehicle changes, you must notify the Parking Office immediately.
  • Register before August 10th and receive your permit in your Villanova mailbox or via standard mail. There is a $5 shipping fee.
  • Parking on Campus is limited and the nearest lot to your location may become be unavailable.

 

Eligible Resident Students

Residents Students will be issued a W-2 (West Campus) Parking Permit (as available). Register before August 10th and receive the permit in your Villanova mailbox. Anyone registering after August 10th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. The Parking Permit will be 2 sticker decals. One is a front interior sticker that is to be placed in the driver side upper left corner of the windshield (below any vanity tinting). The second is a rear exterior sticker that is to be placed on the driver side upper left corner of the rear window on the outside. If placed incorrectly, you will need to remove the stickers and bring it to the Parking Office to purchase a replacement sticker.

 

Day Time Commuters

Day Time Commuters will be issued an I-1 Garage Parking Permit. Register before August 10th and receive the permit via standard mail for a $5 fee. Anyone registering after August 10th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. The Parking Permit will be a sticker decal. The sticker is a front interior sticker that is to be placed center directly below the review mirror on the front windshield (below any vanity tinting). The decal must be permanently affixed in the correct location for it to properly activate the gate system in the garage. If placed incorrectly, you will need to remove the sticker and bring it to the Parking Office to purchase a replacement sticker.

 

Evening Commuters

Evening Students will be issued an Evening Parking Permit. Register before August 10th and receive the permit via standard mail for a $5 fee. Anyone registering after August 10th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. The Parking Permit will be a hangtag valid after 5pm on inner campus lots. The hangtag must be displayed from the vehicle’s rearview mirror.

 

Law Students

Law Students will be issued an S-4 Law Garage Parking Permit. Register before August 10th and receive the permit via standard mail for a $5 fee. Anyone registering after August 10th will need to visit the Parking Office to pick up their permit. The Parking Permit will be a hangtag valid for the 2nd Level of the Law Garage. The hangtag must be displayed from the vehicle’s rearview mirror.

 

Paralegal Students

Please send an email to parking@villanova.edu with the subject line Paralegal Student. Please include your name, Banner ID, and vehicle plate with state/make/model/color/year. The Parking Office will process the registration. Please visit the Parking Office to pick up the Permit.

 

Electric Vehicles

All Electric Vehicles must have an Electric Parking Permit in order to park in Electric Charging Stations. Students parking in the I-1 or S-4 Garages can purchase an Electric Parking Permit for $200. You are permitted to park in an Electric Charging Station spot while you are charging (approximately 4 hours). When not charging, your vehicle will need to be parked in a non-charging spot in the garage it is issued.

 

Study Abroad

Fall Resident Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $100. Before winter break, remove the stickers and return them to the Parking Office to receive a 50% refund. Please note: Even if you do not return the stickers, your vehicle can not be parked on campus while you are abroad.

Spring Resident Students can purchase the Parking Permit for $50 during winter break. The permit will be valid January 2018.
