Evidence Based Practice Workshop for Healthcare Leaders (ONLINE)
In today’s dynamic healthcare environment, leaders can be inundated with clinical information. Let us assist you to develop effective and efficient ways to access and evaluate clinical content while considering its applicability to both day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
This synchronous online course will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the differences between research, EBP and quality improvement. Find out how to formulate a clinical question, to access relevant studies, to appraise the quality of the studies and apply the results to practice that will ultimately impact quality patient care. Small group online interactive discussions promote open dialogue and the ability to consult with expert faculty. Be sure and come prepared with a real work related issue to apply at the start and throughout the program. As an added benefit you will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will be available after the program, for a one time consult to discuss your project and to guide you in achieving your personal EBP goal and objectives.

This course will be offered weekly using an online format. Access to the internet is required. The entire 4 session program will span a 5 week period to allow for time to scan the evidence and apply learning to practice.
