On March 18, the Delaware Senate voted unanimously to confirm Collins J. Seitz Jr. ’83 as a Justice on the Delaware Supreme Court. Gov. Jack Markell nominated Seitz in February to replace former Justice Henry duPont Ridgely, who retired on January 31.
After graduating from Villanova Law School, Sietz began a more than 30-year career in corporate, commercial, intellectual property and trust matters. He is a founding partner of the Seitz Ross Aronstam & Moritz firm and former managing partner of Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz.
Seitz has conducted corporate and commercial hearings in courts across the United States, including Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina and Texas. And as a trial lawyer, he has argued appeals regarding various matters in the Third Circuit for clients including the State of Delaware, New Castle County, Delaware and other Delaware towns and cities.
Seitz is a member of the Delaware, Third Circuit and United States Supreme Court Bars.
