Dean Gotanda ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

On August 25, Dean John Gotanda accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as part of a viral video campaign aimed at raising awareness about and donations to fund research for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease." Villanova Law was challenged to participate by Temple University School of Law. Click here to view the video.

Dean John Gotanda nominated three fellow Deans to follow suit: Patrick Maggitti, Dean of Villanova School of Business; Judy Olian, Dean of UCLA Anderson School of Management; and Roger Dennis, Dean of Drexel University School of Law.

The Ice Bucket Challenge has raised more than $88.5 million in support of ALS research and advocacy.
