The life of an NFL player agent is a whirlwind of activity: constantly recruiting new clients, managing the careers of existing ones and difficult negotiations with team general managers. It is a profession that intrigues millions of fans, students and professional alike.

Joel Segal is one of the most powerful and successful NFL agents in as cutthroat a business as there is. Segal has represented NFL players for twenty-five years and his stable of clients reads like an NFL all-star team: Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson, Percy Harvin, Chris Johnson, Reggie Bush, Santonio Holmes, Jarvis Jones, Tavon Austin and dozens more.

Andrew Brandt, Director of the Moorad Center and a former NFL agent himself, will sit down with Segal on September 26, at Noon, in Room 201, for a revealing conversation about the business and Segal's life. Brandt and Segal are longtime friends who have negotiated many deals together. It will be an interesting and informative hour.
