Jillian Schroeder-Fenlon is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law in the Legal Writing program. Prior to joining the faculty at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, she was an Associate in the Real Estate group at Ballard Spahr LLP, a Philadelphia-based national law firm. She focused her practice on commercial real estate financing, representing both lenders and developers in connection with the acquisition, construction, and refinancing of a variety of commercial properties. She was also an Adjunct LLM Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, teaching LLM students U.S. Legal Writing. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Professor Schroeder-Fenlon was an Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP, a large international law firm, where her practice included aircraft financing and a variety of structured finance transactions.
Professor Schroeder-Fenlon graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.) and received a B.S.F.S. (International Economics) magna cum laude from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
