Important Information Regarding Form 1095-C

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires employers to offer affordable health coverage to full-time employees beginning with tax year 2015.

It is for this reason, that Villanova must submit Form 1095-C to the IRS as documentation that faculty and staff were offered affordable medical insurance coverage and to comply with ACA regulations.

Villanova must also provide faculty and staff with a copy of the Form 1095-C. This form will be mailed to your home address in February.

Faculty and staff will not need to submit this document when filing their annual tax return. However, you should keep this form with other important tax records as proof  that Villanova offered affordable insurance coverage.

Further details regarding Form 1095-C can be found here.
