All employees and students at VU may use Chimera to find Safety Data Sheetss (SDSs) for any chemical they may encounter on campus. Faculty and Staff who would like to create their own SDS departmental database should email Eric Welsh to request an account.

Safety Data Sheets use a series of pictograms to provide a clear indication of the hazards associated with a particular chemical. Please reference the graphic below in order to better understand the meanings of these pictograms.
