Freshman Deadlines

Freshman Class of 2024 Financial Assistance Application Deadlines:*

*Financial Aid Applications will be available to complete starting October 1st.

Early Decision Applicants:            November 1, 2019

Early Action Applicants:               December 1, 2019

Regular Decision Applicants:         January 15, 2020

  • 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed online at https://fafsa.ed.gov 
  • 2020-2021 CSS Profile must be filed online at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/
  • Signed copies of custodial parent(s)', stepparent's, and student's 2018 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return as well as 2018 Federal W-2's, 1099/1099R's, and all tax schedules must be submitted to IDOC.

*If the student is selected for federal verification, additional documents will be requested.

Returning Student Deadlines

The Villanova University Financial Assistance Deadline for 2019-2020 Returning Students is:

April 1, 2019 - Completed application materials must be postmarked by this date.

·2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed PRIOR TO this date online at https://fafsa.ed.gov.

·2019-2020 CSS Profile must be filed PRIOR TO this date online at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/.

·Completed signed copies of custodial parent(s)’, stepparent’s, and student’s 2017 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return as well as 2017 W-2’s, 1099/1099R’s, and all tax schedules must be submitted to IDOC. *Do not submit tax documents to the Office of Financial Assistance*

IRS Data Retrieval Tool

The IRS Data Retrieval Tool for the 2019-2020 academic year is available as of October 1st to complete the FAFSA and Federal Verification Process.  We strongly recommend utilizing this tool when completing the FAFSA to ensure that all information is accurate.  Please refer to Step 4: Federal Verification for complete instructions.
