Freshmen Early Decision- Class of 2023
November 1, 2018 2019-2020 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  This application is used to determine Federal & State aid eligibility. Please note: the FAFSA will not be available to complete until October 1, 2018.
November 1, 2018 2019-2020 CSS Profile, this application is used (in conjunction with the FAFSA) to determine Institutional Need-Based aid eligibility.  Please note: this application will not be available to complete until October 1, 2018.
November 1, 2018 Signed copies of student's and parents'/stepparent's 2017 US Federal or Puerto Rico Income Tax Returns (with all schedules if filed) and W-2 and/1099 or 1099R forms.

Freshman Deadlines

Freshman Class of 2023 Financial Assistance Application Deadlines:*

*Financial Aid Applications will be available to complete starting October 1st.

Early Decision Applicants:            November 1, 2018

Early Action & Regular Decision Applicants: January 15, 2019

  • 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed online at https://fafsa.ed.gov 
  • 2019-2020 CSS Profile must be filed online at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/
  • Signed copies of custodial parent(s)', stepparent's, and student's 2017 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return as well as 2017 Federal W-2's, 1099/1099R's, and all tax schedules must be submitted to IDOC.

 

Returning Student Deadlines

The Villanova University Financial Assistance Deadline for 2018-2019 Returning Students is:

April 1, 2018 - Completed application materials must be postmarked by this date.

·2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed PRIOR TO this date online at www.fafsa.gov.

·2018-2019 CSS Profile must be filed PRIOR TO this date online at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/.

·Completed signed copies of custodial parent(s)’, stepparent’s, and student’s 2016 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return as well as 2016 W-2’s, 1099/1099R’s, and all tax schedules must be submitted to IDOC. *Do not submit tax documents to the Office of Financial Assistance*

IRS Data Retrieval Tool

The IRS Data Retrieval Tool for the 2018-2019 academic year is available as of October 1st to complete the FAFSA and Federal Verification Process.  We strongly recommend utilizing this tool when completing the FAFSA to ensure that all information is accurate.  Please refer to Step 4: Federal Verification for complete instructions.
