Villanova's Center for Resilient Water Systems builds on the achievements of Villanova Engineering faculty in water research, the performance of students past and present, and the College’s belief that as engineers we have a moral obligation to pursue knowledge to address these threats and seek opportunities for both local and global change. Addressing these issues requires transformative engineering approaches that integrate resiliency—the ability to recover or rebound from trauma—into the design. Without resiliency there is a direct negative impact on the quality of life.
Our friends at Yale 360 produced this video about some of our on campus Stormwater Control Measures.
