Seeking PhD Student

July 23, 2018:

We are seeking  a new PhD student, starting either Fall 2018 or Spring 2019, with a focus in the thermal management of electronic systems.  The requirement for the position is a Masters of Science (MS) degree in an engineering discipline. A thesis-based MS degree in the thermal sciences is preferred.

The following characteristics are highly desired for the position:

  1. Experience in technical communication, including journal articles, conference papers, and conference presentations.
  2. Experience in advanced engineering mathematics, including aspects of advanced calculus, ordinary differential equations, and partial differential equations.
  3. Experience in MATLAB programming.
