Dean Maggitti Named to Sacred Heart Board of Trustees


Villanova, PA, 2013 – Patrick G. Maggitti, PhD, the Helen and William O’Toole Dean of the Villanova School of Business (VSB), has been named to Sacred Heart University’s (SHU) Board of Trustees.

Joining Dean Maggitti as new SHU trustees are Gary Levin, president and CEO of Levin Financial Group, and Richard Schaeffer, co-founder, executive chairman and CEO of Liquid Holdings Group, LLC.

Located in Fairfield, Connecticut, SHU was founded in 1963 by the Most Reverend Walter W. Curtis, bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport from 1961 to 1988. It was established to provide the community with a quality liberal arts education for all at a local Catholic university. The University consists of five colleges: the College of Arts & Sciences, the AACSB-accredited John F. Welch College of Business, the College of Health Professions, the NCATE-accredited Isabelle Farrington School of Education and University College, which is committed to the adult learner.
