Philadelphia, PA, October 27, 2010 – The Villanova School of Business (VSB) was recently awarded the MarCom Platinum award from the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals (AMCP) for the Spring 2010 issue of Villanova Business Magazine. The Platinum award is the highest level award given by the organization. Villanova Business received this award for the category of Publication/Magazine in the sub category of Educational Institution.
The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals. Administered and judged by the AMCP, the competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world. Winners span from marketing sole proprietors to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The Platinum Award is presented to those judged to be the most outstanding in the competition and chosen from over 5,000 entries.
To strengthen its relationship with VSB students, faculty, and alumni, the magazine offers a fresh humanistic design, though-provoking articles and spotlights and happenings in and around the School of Business. The magazine includes images of students, professors and notable persons associated with the school.
