Julie Pirsch

Julie Pirsch is Assistant Professor of Marketing at Villanova University. Prior to coming to the Villanova School of Business, she had a career as a marketing manager in the home building products industry. She received her Ph.D. in marketing from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, her MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. At VSB, she teaches Competitive Effectiveness, one of the core sophomore classes in the business school that addresses the principles of marketing and management, Marketing Analytics, Advertising Management, and in the Executive MBA program. Recently, she worked to help create the ‘market u’ initiative to integrate marketing majors with faculty, staff, alumni, and corporate partners throughout the students’ career at VSB. ‘market u’ organizes, brands, and packages the career exploration process and key career information in in language and with an attitude that marketing majors can relate to. Her role in the center is to integrate this student facing initiative with the many resources and opportunities offered by center leaders and advisory board members.
