Center Supports Second Annual VSB Research Insights Symposium

On May 3, Villanova School of Business will host the second annual Research Insights Symposium on “The Future of Globalization.” The symposium will feature faculty presentations from Villanova and other universities on topics including global trade, governance, immigration, the environment, labor standards and others. Confirmed presenters include Howard Chang, PhD, JD, Earle Hepburn Professor of Law, University of Pennsylvania; Denise Downey, PhD, Kevin Tedeschi '71 Assistant Professor, Accounting & Information Systems, Villanova University; Erasmus Kersting, associate professor of Economics, Villanova University; Edward D. Mansfield, PhD, Hum Rosen Professor of Political Science and director of the Christopher H. Browne Center for International Politics at the University of Pennsylvania; and Deborah Seligsohn, PhD, assistant professor of Political Science, Villanova University.

Robert Lawrence, PhD, the Albert L. Williams Professor of International Trade and Investment at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and former member of the President’s Council on Economic Advisers, will give the keynote address on “The Future of the Global Trading System.”
