Director's Message

The expansion of the global economy is dramatically affecting industries, consumers, and citizens around the world. Individuals and firms have recognized that they are competing not only domestically, but in a global marketplace. World trade has given rise to global linkages of markets, technology, and living standards. In the new millennium, the importance of participating in the new global economy cannot be overemphasized. The Moran Center for Global Leadership was developed to assist and strengthen Villanova’s participation in the global communities in which our students will work and contribute.

The center will contribute to the development of VSB's unique international strategy, emphasizing integrated international business studies and responsible global leadership. It serves as a source of new ideas and innovation for VSB’s international curricular and extracurricular initiatives and programs. The center acts as a catalyst for faculty research in international business practices and responsible global leadership.

Whether you are a student, educator, or executive, increasing your knowledge of global business issues will enrich your life—both personally and professionally. To learn more about how you can get involved with the center’s programs and activities, explore our website or contact us.
