It was an honor for our department and Villanova University to host the MAUSRC for the second consecutive year on April 11, 2014. We were pleased to welcome students and faculty from thirteen schools: Arcadia University, Cheyney University, Drexel University, Elizabethtown College, Haverford College, Hood College, Marywood University, St. Joseph's University, Swarthmore College, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, West Chester University, and York Country Day School (affiliated with York College). We appreciated the great efforts that everyone made to participate in the conference and to share their knowledge and expertise. We congratulate the presenters and commend the schools, faculty, and staff that made the conference possible. Jean Ann Linney, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences here at Villanova, provided opening remarks, followed by a keynote address by Michael J. Engle, Esquire. Michael J. Engle is a partner in the Philadelphia-based law firm of Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores, LLC. A summa cum laude graduate of Villanova University with a degree in sociology, Mr. Engle received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.
