On April 19, 2013, our department hosted the Mid-Atlantic Undergraduate Social Research Conference (MAUSRC). For 33 years, the MAUSRC has been providing students from a range of social scientific disciplines a supportive setting in which to present the results of their research projects. Students from Villanova, as well as colleges and universities across the Mid-Atlantic region, presented their research in either a traditional panel setting or in a poster session.
Jean Ann Linney, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova, provided opening remarks, followed by a keynote address by Karen A. Reardon. Dr. Reardon is an Assistant Professor in the Management and Leadership Department of LaSalle University School of Business where she teaches law, ethics and corporate social responsibility.
