What Our Majors are doing with their BA in Philosophy

Kim Creel has taken a job at a life insurance company and is doing management training.

Ryan Doto has entered the PhD program in Philosophy at the New School for Social Research.

Robert Duffy has been accepted with six years of funding to the Ph.D. program in Philosophy at Fordham University.

David Ederer, the winner of a Fulbright Foundation Scholarship, has traveled to South Korea as part of that award in order to teach English.

Paul Kossof has spent time visiting Shanghai and teaching English in Changsha, China. He plans to return to Shanghai to teach English or intern in a law firm. His long-term plans are to work in international law.

Kathleen McKee entered the PhD program in philosophy at Indiana University.

Gil Morejón is currently working towards a PhD in Philosophy at DePaul University, where his research centers on the development of ethically justifiable approaches to understanding our contemporary political situation and seeking the conditions for actual social change given the truth of real unfreedom. 

Andrew Moriarty, a Fulbright Foundation finalist and recipient of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences St. Augustine Medallion, has been a member of the LANCE program and pursued a master's degree in Education at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.

Charles Myers, Phi Beta Kappa, has taken a year off but is planning on applying to graduate school.

Greg Norcross was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania for pre-medical sciences. He is planning to pursue an MD/PhD (philosophy) double degree at UPenn or elsewhere.

Rhodes Pinto, Phi Beta Kappa and co-recipient of the Robert Russell Medallion in Philosophy, has continued at Villanova to pursue an MA in Classics. He plans to apply to PhD programs in Philosophy.

Sarah Saladini, Phi Beta Kappa and co-recipient of the Robert Russell Medallion in Philosophy, has been studying Law at Rutgers University School of Law in Newark.

Christopher Tomaszewski has accepted an offer to begin studies in the Philosophy Department at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign having deferred for a year an offer to begin graduate studies in Mathematics at the University of Delaware.
