Research and Scholarship

Research is an integral part of the life of the Villanova Philosophy Department.  Almost all of our faculty members have an active research program, including books and articles and presentations at professional conferences and symposia.  Our Ph.d. students all have their own research programs as well, and, in addition, many are already publishing or making presentations at conferences.  Most of our Ph.D. graduates  have full-time academic positions and, again, are active in research and publication.  Several of our undergraduates are also pursuing graduate degrees in philosophy.
