2 p.m. College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Graduate Convocation Finneran Pavilion
4 p.m. Baccalauerate Mass, seating available starting at 3 p.m. Campus Green


There will be no parking on campus without a pass.

Every graduate and guest needs a parking pass for Commencement weekend—a major change from previous years. Graduates may sign up for a maximum of 2 parking passes on the Graduation Fair Form, and each pass is designated to a specific lot.

Undergraduate Convocation Directions

  1. Graduates are to report to the Jake Nevin Field House at 8 a.m. The Processions will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m., with the Ceremony beginning at 9 a.m.
  2. Wear your gown and hood to the Recognition Ceremony; caps are reserved for Commencement only. Honor Society cords permitted.
  3. Leave all extra items with family before entering Jake Nevin Field House. No bags, purses or backpacks are permitted. Villanova is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  4. Proceed to the name card pick-up area; keep your personalized card with you. You will need to present this to the name readers on-stage. You may include a phonetic spelling on your card if you would like.

Cap and Gown Distribution

Academic Attire will be available for graduates to pick up at the Class of 2019 Graduation Fair. Along with cap and gowns, graduates will pick up their seating tickets and have the opportunity to meet someone from the Villanova University Alumni Association, pick up a yearbook or diploma frame from the University Shop or make a gift to the Senior Class Gift. The Graduation Fair will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Villanova Room, Connelly Center. Graduating students must bring their Wildcard or have their Student ID number in order to get their cap, gown and seating tickets.
