About

Historical scholarship and perspective to help make a better world
Opened in 2017, the Lepage Center is founded on the belief that historical scholarship and historical perspective, when brought to bear on contemporary global issues, can help us make better decisions and create a better society.
Our Mission
The Lepage Center brings historical scholarship and historical perspective to bear on contemporary global issues
Our Story
The Lepage Center was established in 2016 and began operations in January 2017. The Lepage Center is made possible through the vision and generosity of Mr. Albert Lepage, a history major at Villanova, graduate of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, '69, and retired co-chairman of Lepage Bakeries Inc.
Our Structure
The Center is led by a director and staffed by undergraduate and graduate student fellows who assist with communications and programs. An advisory council lends credibility, visibility and sustainability to the Center. The council comprises a maximum of ten members who have achieved distinction in areas of education, politics, business, media, philanthropy, history and other fields.
