Monday, January 28 | Unconscious Bias  - St. Mary's 163B, 7:00 - 8:30pm

Jameel Rush, Human Resource Director for Yoh, will be visiting Villanova's campus to give HRD students a seminar on unconscious bias, social stereotypes about certain groups of people that individuals form outside their own conscious awareness, in the workplace.

Thursday, February 21 | Clifton StrengthsFinder Assessment and Workshop, St. Mary's 163B, 6:30 - 8:30pm

CliftonStrengths is an assessment tool that is used to maximize human potential by developing people to become great at what they're naturally good at. VUSHRM members will be given the assessment for free prior to the workshop and will go over the results with a trained instructor.

Saturday, March 9 | Villanova SHRM HR Graduate Case Competition, 8:00am - 5:00pm

This year Villanova University will host our first ever HR Graduate Case Competition! Students will utilize their strategic HR knowledge to analyze a business case and make a recommended HR solution. The competition will be a one-day event where the top selected teams will present their solution to a panel of judges. Teams must register by February 8th.
