The Ethics Program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova University issues a call for paper submissions in conjunction with our 19th annual Praxis Award in Professional Ethics, which will be awarded on April 1, 2020. The Praxis Award highlights and celebrates the contributions of a professional or an academic in the field of professional ethics.
The best essay will receive a $300 prize.
This year the focus of the award is Immigration.
Deadline for submissions is February 15, 2020. Email the submission to Ms. Peggy Elder at email@example.com.
For this prize, we encourage undergraduate and graduate students to consider submitting an essay related to this topic.
The ideal paper will either advance an ethical position related to immigration or will provide analysis directly relevant to advancing an ethical position on immigration.
All submissions will be considered as long as the topic and analysis contribute to ethical analysis of immigration, whether in terms of the United States or in a global context.
A winner will be selected by a faculty committee, and the student will be honored as part of the Praxis Award celebration.
