Prospective Students

We welcome your interest in our programs in Education and Counseling!

There is much to consider when applying to a graduate program. To get started, you can explore the web pages of your specific program of interest. You will find  further information about admissions criteria, curriculum requirements, course offerings, resources for students, and other discipline-specific details. Also,  do not hesitate to directly contact a department for guidance.

For more basic information, the University holds a graduate Open House in October and March. Also, the Graduate Studies Office provides regular on-line information sessions and prospective and accepted student events.

What Our Students Are Saying.

  • "The program is very challenging and I learned more in the last three years about education than I have ever dreamed. I know that I will be able to apply most of what I have learned in this program when I am fortunate enough to get a job as an administrator."

  • "They provide a program that is intellectually stimulating, and the Villanova name has a good reputation with employers."

  • "Villanova has an excellent reputation, and looks good on a resume. The faculty in the Education Department are passionate about the subjects that they teach and make learning interesting."

Additionally,  you will  find generally helpful information in the Graduate Studies pages, concerning the application process,
our affordable tuition, financial aid, and our suburban location.

Please contact the Office of Graduate Studies with questions on your application status or other application questions, including the special requirements for international students.
