CACREP ACCREDITATION

 The Counsel for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, has granted accreditation to both the School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health programs in Villanova's Department of Education and Counseling. The CACREP Board of Directors met in July 2015 and awarded accreditation to both our counseling programs through 2023.

  • Number of graduates in the past year (2018-2019): 18
  • Completion rate (2018-2019): 100%
  • National Counselor Exam pass rate (2018-2019): 100%
  • Job placement rate of recent graduates (2018-2019): 89% (as of 9/13/2019)
