Instrument Scientist: The Department of Chemistry at Villanova University invites applicants for an Instrument Scientist position. The position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of instrumentation in the Department of Chemistry, focusing in the areas of mass spectrometry and/or nuclear magnetic spectroscopy, as well as optical spectroscopy, and gas and liquid chromatography; other instrumentation will vary as needed by the department. Staff Chemist II: The Department of Chemistry at Villanova University invites applicants for a Staff Chemist II position. The Staff Chemist II is responsible for the fluid management and operation of the Department chemical stockroom, coordinating with other stockroom and department staff with day-to-day Departmental business. This position works in collaboration with appointed faculty laboratory coordinators to facilitate the planning, chemical preparation, student training, and operation of instructional laboratories – primarily non-majors’ organic chemistry instructional laboratories. Post-doctoral Associate, Computational Chemistry:  The Department of Chemistry at Villanova University and Dr. Ryan Jorn invite applications for a postdoctoral research position in computational chemistry with responsibilities in method development simulating electron and ion transport at electrode interfaces.
