1. Have you had other internships and when and where?

I interned for Campbell Soup during summer 2015 and from there I continued my internship for the fall semester. I have also previously interned for a Tequila Company in the marketing department as well as at a newspaper in the publishing department.

2. What are you doing at this internship? What is your role?

I created an HR portal where employees could find information on HR policies and complete any forms or HR related activities they'd wish. We went live at 8 different countries with their applicable policies and most recently we just went live at two non-salaried employee plants.

3. What was the most enjoyable or memorable day of your internship?

It was the first time we went live with the HR Portal since I got to talk about the project in front of the entire HR team. I got to see first hand how employees were interacting with the portal and I presented a data report that showed we were having a lot of user engagement within the first week!

4. What was the most beneficial part of your internship for learning?

It was amazing to learn new skills and to develop my interests. It was really gratifying to get to learn from professionals in my field of interest. It really got me excited for my future as I learned that I enjoyed HR and that I want to pursue a career in this field.
