The Unitas Endowed Fund
In 2008, a group of Villanova parent volunteers saw a growing need for emergency financial support for students. They heard stories of students who lost a parent, had a family member battling an illness and other unforeseen circumstances that left parents unable to meet the financial requirements of a college education.
As Villanovans, we deeply value Unitas, or unity, and the supportive community the University fosters. That’s why this group of dedicated parents decided to take action to help families alleviate the stress related to meeting educational costs during a difficult time. The result was the Unitas Endowed Fund (formerly named the Graduates’ Family Endowed Fund). Since its inception, parents have contributed more than $570,000 to the Unitas Endowed Fund which has helped 30 students successfully complete their undergraduate degrees.
